Travis Tritt Minneapolis reviews
Americana
First time attending a concert at Will Rodgers Coliseum and first time to see Travis Tritt . The venue was built in 1936 and is a theatre type venue. I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality it delivered. Entry into the arena was relatively quick and easy. We were surprised when the person scanning our tickets said that we had been upgraded to the floor. The seats were comfortable and pretty close to the stage. Texas Hill opened for Travis and did a good job on their 45 minute set. Travis Tritt followed about 30 minutes later and bounded his was on to the stage. You can tell that he still enjoys performing and enjoys the road. His voice is still there and he filled the arena with hit after hat. He even did material from his new album which I really enjoyed, You could smoke in a bar. He is true to his roots and proud of his roots that go back to Charlie Daniels and Waylon. He is very proud of his work with various veteran groups and it shows in his songs. Leaving the arena I thought this was a perfect place to see this concert because it was easy for him to connect to the audience. I would definitely go see him again and come back to Will Rodgers Coliseum.
PHENOMENAL show!!!!!
Have loved Travis for years sadly the first time my husband and i have seen him in concert and were blown away sounds way better in person will definitely see him anytime he comes out way again. We had second row seats at his show in Duluth MN and i couldn't stay in my seat!!! Loved watching him dance and internation with the crowd was amazing especially him asking for any military members to stand up and he talked to them and saluted them brought a tear to my eyes. My dad was a big fan as well sadly he passed away many years ago but he was with me in the custom black bullet necklace that was made where some of his ashes were dad enjoyed his salute too feom heaven. Great job Travis you blew us away!!!! We will be seeing you again sir!!!
Amazing!
I had third row seats which made it even more special! Travis Tritt never disappoints! He sang mostly his old stuff which was great by me… brought up lots of wonderful memories of dancing to his music. Love how he pulls up a seat on his solo part and talks to us (the audience). Makes it feel like we’re in his living room, sitting at his feet and hanging on his every word! Love that he honored Charlie Daniels and our Veterans. Travis is just as good and entertaining today as he was in the 80’s when he came out!! One of my all time favorite performers!! Wish I could have met him!
